Final manuscripts must be formatted by following the guidelines for Springer's LNCS papers. You can use the templates below to write your paper:

If you are using LaTeX, you will need the "llncs" class file. If you are using bibtex for your references, then you will need the "splncs03" BST file, which is included in the zip file that contains the llncs class file.

Please note the following when preparing your camera-ready paper:

  • Papers should be written in English.
  • They should be typed in letter size paper.
    Latex users: set the \documentclass command with the option "letterpaper," that is,
  • Papers should contain the following information:
    - Title (of no more than 250 characters)
    - Full author list.
    - Authors' affiliations and contact. information (post and e-mail addresses).
    - Abstract (of no more than 250 words).
    - List of keywords (5 to 6).
    - References.
  • The maximum number of pages for camera-ready papers is 11. However, papers of up to 14 pages will be accepted if an overlength charge is covered:
    - 250 MXN charge for 1 extra page.
    - 500 MXN charge for 2 and 3 extra pages.
  • Papers should not contain headers or footers.
  • Pages should not be numbered.
  • References should be formatted according to the style shown here (see Sec. 5).

In addition, make sure that:

  • The PDF file of your manuscript has all fonts embedded.
  • All figures, tables, and formulas look as they should.
